The European Union is fighting against the falsification of medicines and therefore has decided that every package of prescription medicines must have a UNIQUE code. All these codes are listed on a single EU HUB portal and can be verified at any time.
As a small Lithuanian pharmaceutical manufacturer, we had to modify the processes, adapt the documentation, in other words, to do the same amount of work as the global pharmaceutical manufacturing group. We are pleased to be succeeded – today we already have the first package of our medicine with a unique code guaranteeing its authenticity.
